Welcome to WebRPR (Web Research Participant Registration) - the University of Maryland School of Medicine's Research Enrollment Portal.

WebRPR is a comprehensive online solution for researchers to advise health care providers of a patient’s participation in a clinical trial.   It is a cooperative effort between the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine, the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and University Physicians, Inc. (UPI) in support of the research community at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.  WebRPR is where principal investigators and research coordinators can securely submit and update enrollment information to both UMMS and UPI with online efficiency and accuracy.

All research patients who may receive clinical care services from any UMMS hospital and/or a UPI physician must be registered.  Submissions via WebRPR should be sent the same day the patient is consented/enrolled in the research study.  The date the participant goes off study must also be submitted the same day that change in enrollment status is made.

If you have questions or are unsure as to whether your patients should be registered with UMMS and UPI, please call Elizabeth Belschner with UPI at 410-328-0951 and Fred Herman with UMMS at 410-328-4391

If a registration was previously submitted to UMMC and UPI via fax or e-mail, then the patient’s data should be in the database and available for updates.  If the patient is not in the database, then the data was incomplete and the patient needs to be re-registered via WebRPR.

NOTE: a SOM account with permissions for WebRPR is required to use this site. Please see below to request access to WebRPR. Also, please use Internet Explorer for this web site.
